rajayogaposeThe Hebrew prophet Isaiah said, “Seek the Eternal, for he may be found;
Call ye upon him, for he is near.” (55:6)
Isaiah’s call to action is well known to us, as are his promises that the Divine Presence can be known.

The open question is, How do we respond? Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Vedanta offers four very practical methods: Action (karma yoga), meditation (raja yoga), devotion (bhakti yoga), and knowledge (jnana yoga).

Br. Shankara explores what happens when a spiritual seeker combines the yoga of action with the yoga of meditation.

Swami Vivekananda taught that persistent practice of these two yogas can transform your character, and revolutionize your understanding of yourself, the other people in your life, and the world we share.
