11am Christmas Eve Worship and Celebration

This SATURDAY morning at 11am, we will celebrate Christmas Eve on Zoom.
December 24 (Saturday) — Christmas Eve Worship and Celebration. For two reasons, we will not meet for this worship service in-person, in our Chapel:
• Br. Shankara has been having episodes of severe asthma, for which he is being treated.
• The weather on Saturday morning may make it dangerous to drive. It’s forecast to be very cold, and icy streets are probable.
Our worship, to be done in the Monastery shrine, will be available on Zoom.
We will start with an extraordinary recorded version of Ave Maria, a hymn to Mother Mary. This will be followed by a short talk on why Jesus Christ was born to us, and what he said to expect from him. During the worship, some Christmas Carols will be sung; we will complete our service with a narration of Christ’s birth.
