– Dhruva and the VCA Congregation
To move forward/backward through the talk, slide the gray bar that appears once audio is playing.
With Br. Shankara away in California, we did something a little different this year to celebrate Sri Ramakrishna’s birthday. Dhruva began, ended and interspersed our celebration with prayers to and thoughts and insights about Sri Ramakrishna and about puja in general. A song by John Schlenck was offered by the choir, and chants, songs and readings were offered by the congregation. We closed with a food offering was performed by one of our devotees, and flower offerings from the congregation. We then moved to the fellowship hall for a prasad potluck lunch. It was a lovely celebration of our Beloved Thakur.
